In January of 2018 the Project Oversight Committee approved the purchase of a new 911 telephone system for the entire County. INdigital was the vendor chosen by a committee consisting of all the relevant stakeholders in the County to provide the 911 solution provided by Solacom. The new 911 equipment is capable of handling regular voice calls, as well as, text to 911. Future capabilities of the system will provide the ability to send video to 911.
